Cricket & Other Global Matters

Not being a great Cricket fan of any kind I must say I do not know much about it.
I have watched it and it is intersting when everyone gets so hyped up about the whole thing.
Wouldn't it be lovely seeing cricket is so loved globally if we could solve all the problems of the world on a cricket pitch.
I heard 70 million people watched the game for the semi final between Pakistan and India.I India aloneCould we not just solve all differences with the game , life would be less bloody to say the least.
Here we are wars and many differences with lives being lost daily inmany parts of Africa, Afghanistan , Iraq, Sri Lanka, India , Pakistan, Tibet , Burma, Dagistan, Korea , Palestine, Israel, Syria, Egypt , Lybia , Bahrain , Tunisia, etc etc etc and the list goes on.
Can the United Nations do anything to draw people together NO, their workers are being killed as of yesterday in Afghanistan and how many other places are their lives in fact at risk.
Why cannot we be CIVILIZED with one another , WHY the greed and the control of people's lives?
I am sure there are many others out there who would agree with me, WE WILL ALL DIE ONE DAY....... SOONER OR LATER THE OLD TICKY BOX STOPS AND POOF YOUR GONE !!!.
Why do people try to HURRY this process?
I like my space on earth , it is a beautiful world if we could all respect one another. As Louis Armstrong sang What A Wonderful World !!!
It aint so wonderful at present, so I am not a politician , nor an activist but I like to make my voice heard,as do all the people of the world.
I am not a Cricket buff but Cricket is Civilized , they do break for tea, they do have strategies to get the oponent out.
Then they do have the WORLD CUP , which is on tonight I believe between India and Sri Lanka.
I say may the best team win and the rest of the world , stop for a minute and think , isn't Cricket more civilized in gaining a result than murdering ,maiming, shooting, killing, raping , stealing , burning each other.
So my suggestion is We should all try and play CRICKET and be out there slugging away on the field and not at each other with weapons. Let our sportsmen speak with their talent and be the strength of the nations.
We are sooooooo long dead the other way and really there is no afternoon tea to work out strategies , your gone for good. Other can only weep for you .
Cricket , well after tea you come back and try to sort it out again and you get to live another day.
