Hot Hot Hot.....Land of Oz! (LINK)

It's Sunday and I am delighted to say another fantastic Sydney Summer day.
Anyone on the other side of the world eat your hearts out in the snow , ice and cold , whilst we Ozzies are languishing in the hot summer weather.
Some pasrts of Oz are a little too HOT HOT HOT!!! and some fires burning, this we hope and pray will not do any harm to the people in the affected areas. We also have had the extremes of floods and rains in the north.This too has been rather sad for many families.
This is truly a country of contrasts when it comes to the weather .
In Sydney though ,for the past few weeks all we have had is glorious summer weather, swimming daily, going out on balmy nights to cafes and restaurants, outdoor theatres and generally lapping up the wonderful summer break.
Then there is the eating and feasting of mangoes, watermelons, cherries, apricots, peaches , strawberries and all the wonderful summer fruits. Yummo!!!!
Summer BBQ's fill the night air with the aroma of delicious foods .
Summer in Sydney has been fabulous to say the least.
The postcards if I were to write any , and tear myself away from the wonderful sun and surf would say.....WISH YOU WERE HERE ! HAVING FUN IN THE SUN ! ENJOYING ALL THE SUMMER FRIVOLITY.........K
I nearly forgot we also have the Sydney Festival where there are great shows on , indoor outdoor and in the famous Sydney Opera House and other theatres. International acts everywhere.
Don't forget we are about to have Australia Day, another great day to celebrate our Ozziness in the great souther land of Terra Australia! January 26th Remember to have a great day!
It is also the month of January and should you want to pick up any summer bargains, now is the time to do it.
No pics from me today as I am going back for a swimmmmmmm and just to laze by a pool sipping nice cranberry juice and maybe some vodka with a dash of ice and a sprig of Mint!!! Cooling .
