Tonights the Night...For the Canucks

Crazy....as it may sound .....wild as it may be ...I love the NHL ...for those of you out there National Hockey League.
Two weeks ago I was on a trip to Canada /Alaska and whilst in Vancouver,
I watched my first gane of Ice Hockey.
I did not even know how many were supposed to be on the ice initially but boy did I learn fast.
Of course it was the Vancouver Canuucks and yes they are in the final play offs of the Stanley Cup.
You may well ask about the Stanley cup , well all I know is it is dammed hard to make it to the final.
If anyone wants to find out they can google the rules of it all.
The Ice Hockey I witnessed was fabulously fast game and often you cannot even follow the supersonic movement of the puck as it races across the ice.
Not only that the guys are just so amazing on their skates and whizz past you in a flash.
It is brutally tough and one winces when the skaters get whacked onto the wall or crunched with the ice hockey stick . I sat on the edge of my seat as I watched the Canucks, Super Hero Roberto Luongo the goal keeper save many attempts to get into his goal.
Then Kessler who just moves on the ice with the greatest of ease to set up goals and make goals, as does Burrows and the rest of the canucks brave hearts.
As you can see I have become a convert to the game and tonight is the Stanley cup first round play of for the Finals.

Go Go Go the Vancouver Canucks.
Whilst I am no longer watching the game in canada, I will be glued to the tv and hoping not to fall off the lounge as I feel every moment of the game with the team as they glide, race, smash and biffo across the ice to win the first round.
