Just saw a tweet by a guy who calls himself Shamit .
He drew a fabulous cartoon on the front page of an Indian paper which speaks volumes on the Corruption, Shame , Pollution ,Abuse, The Wink Wink Nudge Nudge mentality about women as sex objects and about thier respect for women in general.
Also looks at the Poverty , the haves and the have nots , the poor sytems in place etc.
As I have been travelling in and out of India for all the part of 18years , it is evident his cartoon has hit the nail smack bang on the head and wow have people reacted.!!!!
No one likes criticism but India needs a shake up of a mamoth kind.
It has to come from within its own people.
I love India and all it is but I also dislike the injustice and unfairness that exhudes from every corner of the place.
People must stand up and be counted. of course many places and countries are not perfect but it is time for India to grow up!
It has an abundance of wealth .....its people , it must be tapped into and everyone needs equal rights and opportunities otherwise India will remain at the bottom of the bowl unable to crawl out of the slippery bowl it creates for itself.
With many friends in India from all walks of life it is important that all pull together as one , my grandfather once said if his horses did not pull in the same direction he would not advnce forward and this is also what everyone must do .....pull forward together and not leave people behind because of greed and corruption.
Thank you Shamit for having the guts to visually and verbally make a statement .....I hope it rocks lots of boats even if only for an instant !!!!
