Wikileaks Another Fair Game Situation

Have not written for a long time but Thursday I saw the movie Fair Game .
I was very angry and rightfully so because no declaration of war should have been made on Iraq. I always felt strongly about the sickening lack of evidence when Bush , Blair and Howard went to war ....
Whilst I did not condone the actions of the then Saddam Hussein and his form of govt , it was the US that previously condoned his leadership.
So why compare the two situations Wikileaks & Fair Game , if any of you know or have read the story of the CIA agent(female , a wife a mother ) who was savaged and spat out by her own govt, the US as her husband was ,Ambassador Wilson by the Bush administration when it did not have credible evidence to go to war on Iraq.
It is happening all over again, the US and their Buddies are trying to stop freedom of information by hunting down Julian Assange for TREASON!!!!!
Yes , he may have targeted US intelligence and yes it may be a little out of kilter because he cannot get to secrets of China, Iran and all the other counties that may have juicy information.
Isn't it time we took a long hard look at all the manipulation globally of lives????
When will govt's stop lying to the rest of us , when will they stop playing games with all of us every day people, for their own gain , for power and wealth.
We are supposedly not living in the dark ages but in another sense of it we are.
Dark ages of honesty , integrity and ethical thinking.
If any govt has a conscience of any kind remember this life is extremely precious and one day is all we live , so where is the futre in all this, cover ups and manipulation .
All Julian Assange has done as I see it is opened our eyes and once again it is Fair Game but governments don't like it.

Julian Assange/WikiLeaks is only the publisher of leaks, from whistleblowers, which come to Wikileaks and he isn't breaking any laws as far as I can find out.
The leaks are verified, sensitive names are redacted (XXXXX'd) and we get them much as they came to WL.

Rudd at least spoke the truth. What pace can China tolerate is the question everyone wants to know?
It's called treading preciously on delicate feet.
Many precious moments Tibet, Taiwan, Google ,Undervalued Currency RMB, the state of global economies and the teeter tottering balances as it states in the leak and it really isn't a leak as it is spoken about all the time.So what's the fuss????
It's the domino affect , one little hiccup or sneeze and China , USA Oz UK, Russia etc etc etc countries react. To wow Wikileaks!!!
Nothing new actually . But wikileaks has just ignited peoples interest to it all.
The more the govt's make an issue of things and create the witch hunt like the inquisition or when the Americans hunted all the witches in their past history ,the more people will want to find out, why why why....the witch hunt...

We don't always understand the way Asian countries operate. We rush, hurry, hurry. Most Asian countries don't. They're content to examine the problem from all sides.
Kevin Rudd, dear soul, is far too energetic to handle the role of Foreign Affairs, and he may never be.
He is unable to adjust his own agenda to other Nations needs because he runs on 'tramlines'. He is so focused on the end, he forgets the middle - which is often the hardest part in negotiations.
Kevin Rudd is focused on 'completion' not on 'concretion', making a deal stand for the benefit of the Australian community.

I think Rudd wants 'concretion' but the word 'Use force' in the leak may have been also misinterpreted by media and those that want to cause sensation!!!
Use force may not necessarily mean what Julie Bishop interprets as all out war mongering by super powers.
Use force could mean be more persuasive means be more demanding etc etc.
While the leak is another leak one can read into it many things.
I think people need to stay calm and think of the every day person rather than accuse and attack.
Tonight I heard from Mclelland's mouh that if Assange wanted consular help he would get it like all other Australian citizen, whereas yesterday quite the opposite was stated.
Now people can misconstrue that too, one could say a turn around for Australian govt or one could say , hmmm this could be a ploy to arrest him and hand him over to US , hmmm could be they have read the Australian government laws on the human rights of an Australian citizen.
Who knows , whichever govt is in at the time , politics is a dirty business and no one knows which way the wind shifts.
One thing one learns with wikileaks is that there are people willing to stand up and question the powers of be.
Under Chinese law or even possibly in Malaysia where you lived or any communist country of the the cold war era, you and I would not be discussing any of this as we would be monitored and possibly even arrested . Isn't it great that we have such technology today and that we do live here and no other place .....who knows we still may be monitored ..... more than likely.
